U.S. Air Ambulance is always interested in adding talented professionals to our team. Listed below are some of the air medical transport positions available periodically, and our minimum qualifications. Air Medic candidates must meet all national accreditation standards for training and clinical skills maintenance, and be able to function in a variety of air medical situations. Critical decision making skills are required for all positions. Bilingual skills are a plus. In all cases, passports are required.

Flight Nurses
  • Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse Program
  • Current license in the state hired
  • Minimum of three years in a critical care setting
  • Current BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
  • Must successfully complete our training and orientation program
  • Flight experience preferred

Flight Paramedic
  • Graduate of an accredited Paramedic Program
  • Minimum of two years experience in a high performance EMS environment
  • Current EMT-P, also BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
  • Must successfully complete a DOT approved flight program
  • Must successfully complete our training and orientation program
  • Flight experience preferred

Registered Respiratory Therapist
  • Licensed, Registered Respiratory Therapist
  • Minimum of two years experience in a critical care setting
  • Current ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications
  • Must successfully complete a DOT approved flight program

Flight Physicians
  • Licensed MD/DO
  • Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
  • Current ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications
